IBPS RRB-India has a slightly different group of financial establishments called RRB (Regional Rural Bank), which centers on banking efforts in the villages and inland regions of our country. There are 56 RRB in India. Most of Gramin Bank relay on IBPD RRB recruitment to acquire new employees.

IBPS RRB-India has a slightly different group of financial establishments called RRB (Regional Rural Bank), which centers on banking efforts in the villages and inland regions of our country. There are 56 RRB in India. Most of Gramin Bank relay on IBPD RRB recruitment to acquire new employees.

Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Regional Rural Banks listed at (A) as Group “A”-Officers (ScaleI, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose).

There is a preliminary exam for RRB Assistant and scale-I officer Posts. The online exam for scale II officer post under the specialist carders like Agriculture, IT, Law have an addition module for professional knowledge.

Nationality:

a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age (As on 01.06.2019):

 For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager):

 Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1979 and later than 31.05.1998 (both dates inclusive)

 For Officer Scale- II (Manager):

Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1987 and later than 31.05.1998 (both dates inclusive)

For Officer Scale- I:

(Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1989 and later than 31.05.2001 (both dates inclusive)

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

 Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1991 and later than 01.06.2001 (both dates inclusive)

Permissible relaxation  in  Upper age limit for different categories are as under: 

SC/ST + 5 Years ,    OBC + 3 Years ,     PwD (Unreserved) +10 Years

Degree in any discipline. Preferred degree criteria Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

  1. Proficiency in local language.
  2. Computer Knowledge.

 

Eligibility for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer) Post

– Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Preferred degree criteria – Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.

Required Experience – Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Eligibility for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II (Specialist Officers) Post – Information Technology Officer (IT Officer) –

Must have Degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

  1. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
  2. Required Experience: One year.

Chartered Accountant –

Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Experience – One year.

Law Officer –

Degree in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Experience – Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.

 

Experience – One year.

  1. Treasury Manager

    Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution

  2. Marketing Officer –

    MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.

    Experience – One year

  3. Agricultural Officer –

    Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

    Experience – Two years.

Eligibility for IBPS RRB Officer Scale III Post –

Degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference Criteria having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.

Experience – Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.
